Welcome to The Dart, a local Community Arts Centre exhibiting work by six professional artists and makers including a varied selection of acrylic and oil paintings, ceramics, prints, textiles, and other gift items.
Elizabeth Saunders - Textile and Mixed Media Artist exploring memories using paint, print, and stitch within her work.
Vicki North (North Family Arts) - Ceramicist and Needlefelt Artist.
Paul Best - Impressionist and Abstract landscape and seascapes in acrylic and oil paints.
- Our Coffee Shop, Toilet Facilities and Art Shop will be OPEN.

Workshops and Talks
Make your own natural pigments with Eco Arts Campaigner, Lucy Tipper
Spend an hour processing your own paints from Earth. You will process and grind found colour from soil samples, learn to mull pigment with natural binders and make your own natural watercolour paints.
Leave the session with the knowledge of how to make your own earth colours and a little palette of colours to help you get started.

Create your own Landscape painting with professional Artist, Paul Best
Create a small finished canvas artwork in two hours, to take home. Paul will demonstrate his characteristic quick textural painting techniques with a palette knife and brushwork in acrylic paints to inspire you.Canvas, paints, palette knives and brushes will be provided. Just wear something that you do not mind getting a bit of paint on!

Create your own Needlefelt Rose or Daisy with Vicki North
Get creative and learn something new in this needle felting workshop. Choose to create a rose or a daisy by using a needle and refined sheep wool. You will be guided by the tutor at each step through the process. £24 per person. Beginners kit included.

Ceramic Painting with Vicki North
Come along and paint your own designs onto cups, bowls, plates, or animal buddy figures in this family-friendly and relaxing session.
Guidance will be on hand to show you some creative ways to create different looks for your own masterpiece.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Items will be fired and returned to The Dart for collection in approximately 2 weeks.
Book your spaces here for Wednesday 23rd August 2-4pm with a £5 deposit. Your £5 will be deducted from your ceramic item.

Glass Fusion Drop-In Session with CStar Designs
Pop in and create your own fused glass bunting triangle, using different grades of glass and pre-fired pieces. Cathy and Lisa from CStar will be guiding you through the materials and giving advice on techniques.
