Abstract Acrylic Painting
About The Tutor

I believe in the power of art to promote freedom, self-expression, and positivity. Transitioning from an account manager to an artist during pregnancy, I found solace and passion in art, reconnecting with my great grandmother's legacy. Art became my therapy, transforming stress into serenity and igniting a love for lifelong learning.
Initially a hobby, art became my calling, allowing me to aid others and share its transformative impact. My journey, which began in 2013, has reshaped my mindset and led to recognition and achievements, including winning Theo Paphitis' Small Business Sunday award and participating in Landscape Artist of the Year.
Currently, I'm preparing a new collection for the Sussex Art Fair 2024 and teaching workshops to help others embrace their creative potential. My future goals include expanding my workshops, evolving my art, curating a solo show, and authoring a book to inspire aspiring artists. My vision is to foster a community of creativity, courage, and continuous growth.

Abstract Painting - Winter Palette
This workshop will explore how winter makes you feel. From peaceful frosty mornings to cosy fireside evenings, this workshop helps you capture your personal connection to the season. Using various techniques, you'll create your own winter interpretations through texture, colour, and form. The focus will be all about mood. What draws you in? What memories pop up? Learn to translate that feeling onto the page using a muted, calming palette of cool tones like mauve, soft blues, and gentle greys to evoke winter's quiet beauty. Discover how winter can be both still and stirring, cool and warm.
